Hammers look to end wretched winless run

Both West Ham and Ipswich are desperate for a win this weekend as they face each other at the London Stadium.

They have just one victory between them in the Premier League this season so will be looking to end respective winless runs.

West Ham’s solitary Premier League win came in the second fixture of the campaign when they won 2-0 away at Crystal Palace. In their remaining five games they have lost against Aston Villa, Man City and Chelsea and drawn with Fulham and Brentford.

In the League Cup, they were unceremoniously dumped out of the competition after a 5-1 loss away at Liverpool.

Niclas Fullkrug hasn’t played since the last international break and although he is close to a return, this weekend will probably come too early.
