FC Barcelona anticipate a significant boost in stadium revenue, with projections reaching €350 million annually once the renovated Spotify Camp Nou reaches its full capacity of 104,600 seats, reports Mundo Deportivo.
This forecast comes as part of the club’s strategic financial planning to be presented at the Ordinary General Assembly this Saturday.
As per the report, Barça expect to generate €28 million more than last season, with €154 million in revenue projected for the current season – split between operations at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium and the partially reopened Camp Nou with 62,000 seats in the second half of the season.
This marks a substantial increase from the €126 million earned during their temporary residence at Montjuic last season, where attendance peaked at 50,309 during the Barcelona-PSG Champions League quarter-final match.
However, the financial impact of the stadium transition is evident when comparing figures with the 2022-23 season, the last full season at Camp Nou. Revenue dropped by €103 million, from €229 million to €126 million, following the move to Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
