While Barcelona still have 90 minutes of football before they can shift their attention to the upcoming European clash against Bayern Munich, the Germans are already at the doorstep of the big game.
Having defeated Stuttgart 4-0 last night, the next game on their calendar is against Barcelona and they notably get 24 hours extra to prepare for the game in Catalonia.
After the game last night, Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany spoke to the media and gave his two cents on facing Hansi Flick. Now, the team’s in-form striker Harry Kane has opened up on the highly-anticipated clash.
Kane’s words
Speaking to the media after last night’s clash against Stuttgart, the former Tottenham Hotspur striker was asked to give his opinion on Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski who also happens to be Bayern’s last elite centre-forward before Kane.
“Robert Lewandowski is a fantastic striker, one of the best strikers of our time,” he said, as revealed by Kerry Hau.

Commenting on the upcoming clash against Barcelona and what they expect from the Blaugrana, he said,
“It will be a special match. Many of us know the Barcelona coach well. We expect a similar opponent to Stuttgart, one that wants the ball and presses deep.”
“It will be a difficult match but we accept the challenge,” he added.
While Kane has largely enjoyed a good time with the Bavarian giants, he was goalless in four games heading into Bayern Munich’s game last night. He did, however, end his goal drought with a stellar brace and looks in fine shape before the game in Spain.
Lewandowski, meanwhile, is flying under Hansi Flick with eleven goals in ten games and is also leading the Pichichi race by a three-goal margin.
In fact, he has a game in hand and can further extend his lead over second-placed Kylian Mbappe later today.
