Tonight’s El Clasico is set to be an exciting showdown, and it will be a special experience for several Real Madrid and Barcelona players who will play in this intense rivalry for the first time.
With the legendary clash drawing near, up to eight Barcelona players are in line for their Clasico debuts if Hansi Flick decides to give them a chance on the field.
Among these newcomers are talented players from different positions, including forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers, each eager to leave a mark in one of football’s most celebrated rivalries.
A look at the players
Dani Olmo is one of Barcelona’s standout additions this summer. He is keen to make his mark in his first El Clasico. Olmo brings creativity, skill, and a hunger for victory, making him one of the key players to watch tonight.

Marc Casado is anotherpromising midfielder who has impressed with his performances for Barcelona this season. Facing Real Madrid for the first time in an official match, he will look to maintain his form and handle the high-stakes pressure that comes with El Clasico.
Furthermore, Pau Victor is expected to make his debut in this historic clash. The youngster is likely to start from the bench but could appear towards the end.
The likes of Hector Fort, Gerard Martin and Sergi Dominguez have been included in the travelling squad. Like Victor, they are below the pecking order as Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde will be the obvious starters.
Lastly, Wojciech Szczesny and Diego Kochen round out the list. While Szczesny is a seasoned veteran, Kochen represents fresh talent from the American football scene.
However, it must be noted that Kochen will not feature as Inaki Pena will be the starter. For Szczesny, he could feature if there is any injury to Pena.
