In a major development, COPE reports that Real Madrid have identified the individuals responsible for racist abuse directed at Barcelona stars during Saturday’s El Clasico and will impose the harshest possible sanctions.
The incident occurred during Saturday’s La Liga match at the Santiago Bernabeu when Barcelona players Lamine Yamal, Ansu Fati, and Raphinha were subjected to racist abuse from certain individuals in the stands.
The abuse, which intensified after Barcelona’s third goal, included deeply offensive racial slurs and xenophobic comments.
La Liga announced on Monday that it has submitted additional evidence to Madrid’s Provincial Information Brigade, including new footage of racist chants directed at Barcelona players at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Now, according to the report, Real Madrid have already located the individuals responsible for Saturday’s shameful incidents and included this information in their official complaint.
The Spanish capital giants intend to impose maximum penalties, independent of any legal consequences the perpetrators may face.
Real Madrid had already issued a strong statement on Sunday condemning the racist abuse. Meanwhile, star winger Vinicius Jr., who has emerged as the face of the fight against racism had also spoken out against the incident and stood in support of the Barcelona trio.
Now, Real Madrid have joined La Liga in providing information to help identify those responsible for the racist abuse.
This cooperation forms part of a broader effort to combat racism in Spanish football, with both the club and league authorities determined to take decisive action against such behaviour.
The incident has sparked widespread condemnation across Spanish football, with calls for stronger measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
