Muamed Sejdini resigns North Macedonian FA presidency

November 19 – The president of the North Macedonian Soccer Federation (FFM), Muamed Sejdini (pictured), has resigned, two months after he was attacked by masked males within the centre of Skopje.

The announcement was made after North Macedonia’s remaining sport within the Nations League towards the Faroe Islands, which noticed the Balkan workforce gained 1-0 and qualify for League B.

Sejdini has been the president of the FFM for the final seven years, throughout which North Macedonia achieved their biggest soccer successes, taking part in for the primary time in Euro 2020 and securing second place within the qualification group for the World Cup.

The brand new president of FFM will likely be elected at a unprecedented assembly on December 22.

“After seven extraordinary years full of historic achievements, I made a decision to retire from the place of president of the Soccer Federation of Macedonia,” saind Seijdini.

“The choice is the results of my considering that the time has come for change, after the interval that will likely be remembered as essentially the most profitable in our soccer historical past.

“Along with you, we wrote the golden pages for Macedonian soccer: the historic participation within the EURO 2020, second place within the qualifying group for the World Championship and the unforgettable victory over Italy in Palermo, success within the League of Nations with placement in League B and the realisation of quite a few infrastructure initiatives in collaboration with UEFA and FIFA,” he continued.

“We’re leaving this place with delight and nice gratitude to everybody who contributed to those successes: footballers, selectors, golf equipment, buyers, administration, members of the Board of Administrators, and each soccer fan.”
