November 19 – Following within the footsteps of St Pauli, Werder Bremen have turn into the second Bundesliga membership to depart X for Bluesky, calling out the “latest radicalisation” of the social media platform previously referred to as Twitter. 

In a press release, Bremen defined that “with the latest radicalisation of the platform, a line has been crossed for the membership” and moved to Bluesky, urging their 600,000 followers on X to do the identical.

The membership wrote: “Since Elon Musk took over the platform, hate speech, hatred in direction of minorities, right-wing extremist posts and conspiracy theories have been allowed to unfold at an unbelievable tempo, all below the guise of freedom of speech. The radicalisation of the platform is being actively pushed by Elon Musk and his private posts, which embody transphobic and antisemitic feedback, in addition to the spreading of conspiracy narratives.
