December 16 – The German FA (DFB) have backed Bernd Neuendorf and Hans-Joachim Watzke for re-election to the FIFA Council and UEFA government committee respectively. 

In an announcement, buried on its web site, the DFB introduced that its government committee had endorsed the pair for re-election: “The mandates of Bernd Neuendorf (pictured proper) on the FIFA Council and Hans-Joachim Watzke on the UEFA Govt Committee finish subsequent 12 months. Their nomination by the DFB Presidium is a prerequisite for attainable re-election by the subsequent Odd UEFA Congress on April 3, 2025 in Belgrade.”
