Former England worldwide Stuart Pearce is recovering in hospital in Canada after struggling a medical emergency on board a flight from the US.
The 62-year-old had been in Las Vegas attending the Tremendous League conflict between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves when he fell ailing on his Virgin Atlantic flight house.
After receiving remedy on board, a choice was made for the aircraft to make an emergency touchdown, though Pearce’s TalkSport colleague, Sam Matterface, stated he was “in nice spirits”.
