Americans Abroad Midweek Rewind: Pulisic, Adams, and more

AC Milan needs a better 90 minutes if it wants to remain in this season’s Coppa Italia competition.

Christian Pulisic started and played 76 minutes in the Rossoneri’s 1-1 first leg draw vs. rivals Inter on Wednesday. The U.S. men’s national team star created the most offensive chances in the match (2) while also completing one dribble and drawing one foul.

Tammy Abraham opened the scoring for AC Milan two minutes into the second half but Inter’s Hakan Calhanoglu equalized 20 minutes later.

Pulisic, who is without a goal contribution in his last four matches for club and country, will aim to get back on track in Serie A play this weekend vs. Fiorentina.

In England, Antonee Robinson and Tyler Adams both suffered Premier League defeats.

In North America, Alex Zendejas and Club America tied Cruz Azul 0-0 in Champions Cup play.
