Alan Shearer names NUFC duo in Premier League Team of the Week – Nail on the head?

Alan Shearer bas named Fabian Schar and Bruno Guimaraes in his Premier League Team of the Week.

For me, the pair were our two best players in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Wolves. Schar didn’t put a foot wrong defensively, but also played a key role in all three of our goals with cutting passes into midfield to create counter attacks.

Bruno was back to his best both on and off the ball, winning his battles and making us tick in possession, with his darting run helping set up Alexander Isak’s opener before his stunning no-look pass to Miguel Almiron.

Here’s what Shearer’s reasoning for picking both Mags, followed by his Premier League Team of the Week in full, featuring the likes of Ollie Watkins, Phil Foden and Martin Odegaard.
