The teams are in ahead of tonight’s 7.30pm kick-off at St James’ Park, where Newcastle United take on an Everton side fighting to stay up.
Here’s the side Eddie Howe has gone with, followed by the subs bench:
NUFC XI: Dubravka, Krafth, Schar, Burn, Hall, Longstaff, Bruno, Anderson, J Murphy, Isak, Barnes
Subs: Karius, Gillespie, Dummett, Ritchie, Willock, White, Diallo, A Murphy, Parkinson
Four charges from Saturday. Lewis Hall and Harvey Barnes start, with Anthony Gordon suspended and Miguel Almiron and Tino Livramento missing. Kieran Trippier is absent too, seeing Emil Krafth start. Elliot Anderson has been given the nod ahead of Joe Willock.
As expected, Jamaal Lascelles (ACL) misses out along with Sven Botman, Joelinton, Callum Wilson, Nick Pope, Matt Targett and Anthony Gordon, who is suspended after his two bookings on Saturday.
Another huge home game in our push for the European places. Hopefully we can build on that heroic comeback on Saturday, pull clear of Brighton, Wolves and Chelsea and gain on Man Utd (6th) and West Ham (7th), with the latter facing Spurs in tonight’s 8.15pm kick-off.
Howay the lads!
