Birmingham vs Coventry Prediction

There are a vital three points up for grabs when Birmingham host Coventry in the Championship on Saturday.

Birmingham are currently second-bottom of the league, but with four matches remaining, they could still leap out of the relegation zone for survival as there are just five points between them in 23rd and QPR in 16th.

Coventry, meanwhile, are still in with a chance of making the playoffs and have a huge FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United on the horizon next weekend.

Marc Roberts, Lukas Jutkiewicz and Oliver Burke are all definite absentees for Birmingham, while Lee Buchanan is a doubt after being withdrawn in the last game due to a groin problem.

Alfie Chang is hopeful of a return soon after missing the entire season so far with an ACL injury.

Milan van Ewijk suffered a head knock against Southampton so he likely won’t be risked, while Tatsuhiro Sakamoto and Matt Godden are out with back and leg muscle injuries.

Coventry may have one eye on that FA Cup semi-final, but they should have enough to earn at least at draw at St. Andrews.
