Despite a 3-2 win over PSG in midweek, the job is not done for FC Barcelona, who will have to hold off the advances from the French giants when these two teams play again next week.
Keeping that in mind, one can easily forgive Barça for taking the foot off the gas pedal as they take on Cadiz in La Liga this evening.
The Catalans are still involved in the title race, but they are trailing league leaders Real Madrid by eight points, with just eight matches remaining.
Barcelona’s mantra vs Cadiz
Heading into this game, Mundo Deportivo has offered a mood check in the Barcelona camp and it appears the club have no other target than securing three points against Cadiz tonight.
It appears Xavi Hernandez is not taking this game lightly. Although he is expected to rotate the squad on the night, with the likes of Vitor Roque set for a start, he wants the team to conjure up three points.

In fact, Xavi has already warned the team that anything less than three points will not be accepted, regardless of the changes he makes to the starting eleven.
Barça wants to keep the title race alive
Despite the euphoria over the UCL victory over PSG and the possibility of reaching the semifinal, Barcelona have not lost sight of La Liga.
The Blaugrana want to keep the title race alive at all costs, which is why the team will be keen on snatching all three points against Cadiz this evening.
Barcelona, in fact, will head into this game knowing Real Madrid’s result against Mallorca. Should Los Blancos draw, Barcelona will be able to close the gap to six points.
That should give Barça an ideal opportunity to put pressure on Real Madrid, especially considering the fact that the two teams meet next weekend.
