Chelsea loanee Ian Maatsen has given Borussia Dortmund a 2-0 lead in their Champions League quarter-final second leg clash with Atletico Madrid.
The goal puts the German club 3-2 ahead on aggregate and are deservingly going through at the halftime break.
The Bundesliga outfit have been brilliant in the opening 45 minutes and Julian Brandt opened the scoring after 34 minutes.
Edin Terzic’s team have now taken the lead and it has come through Chelsea loanee Ian Maatsen, who has scored his first-ever Champions League goal.
The left-back joined Dortmund in January from the Premier League club and has been very good over the last few months in Germany.
This goal could be the biggest in Maatsen’s career if Dortmund hold on but either way, it will be a strike the Dutch star will never forget.
