May 3 – From Pep to Pepsi: Pepsi Max has unveiled Jack Grealish as its latest global brand ambassador.
The deal will see the England international join Pepsi’s growing football sponsorship roster, lining up alongside global talent in Son Heung-Min, Vinicius Junior and Leah Williamson.
Grealish will “take centre stage” in Pepsi Max’s soon-to-be-unveiled global football campaign, which will pit all four players against each other in a “battle for street football supremacy”.
Eric Melis, VP of Global Brand Marketing, Carbonated Soft Drinks at PepsiCo, said: “Jack is renowned worldwide for his incredible football skills and the enjoyment he takes from the game. We celebrate those who personify our attitude on and off the pitch and can’t wait for him to support us in bringing more enjoyment to football fans around the world as part of the Pepsi Max family.”
Grealish has been linked with a move away from Man City winners, with Chelsea rumoured to be interested.
The £100 million man has enjoyed a successful time at Manchester City so far, but hasn’t completely stamped his name on to the team sheet after struggling for game time this season with Jeremy Doku and Phil Foden, who picked up the FWA footballer of the year award on Friday, in fine form on either wing.
Manchester City play Wolves at the Etihad in a must-win for the blues to nudge ahead of Arsenal as the title race nears the finish line.
