Goals could come costly
While Barcelona would be aiming to see Lewandowski salvage some pride with a potential Pichichi victory, his upcoming goals could take a toll on the club’s pocket.
Indeed, according to Javi Migue of AS, a condition in Barcelona’s agreement with Bayern Munich states that they will have to pay the Bavarians €1.25 million if Robert Lewandowski scores two more goals before the season ends.
Indeed, the clause stipulates that Bayern Munich would earn €1.25 million in the event that the attacker exceeded 25 goals per season in official matches.

Currently on 24 goals for the season, two more strikes would mean Lewandowski crosses the 25-mark, stipulating Barça to shell out €1.25 million, like they did last season as well when he netted 33 times.
This would be in addition to the €45 million fee the Catalan giants paid for Lewandowski back in 2022.
