According to a sensational report by David Bernabeu from SPORT, the real reason behind Xavi’s dismissal as Barcelona’s coach was the club’s lack of belief in him.
The reporter points out that all the previous reasons given for his departure are simply smokescreens to mask the underlying issue of mistrust between Xavi and the club’s management.
This means neither the press conference following the Almeria match, the differences in player departures, the Vitor Roque case, nor the disagreements over sports planning were the actual reasons for Xavi’s exit.
