The winger left United in January to join Borussia Dortmund on loan after Ten Hag banished him from the senior team at the Premier League club.
The pair’s relationship deteriorated in Manchester after the Dutch coach left Sancho out of the squad for Man United’s game against Arsenal at the Emirates in September, with the Red Devils boss citing training standards as the reason for doing it.
The Englishman then hit back at his manager on social media, essentially labelling him a liar. The 24-year-old refused to apologise in the aftermath and therefore, was sent to Germany on loan for the remainder of the season.
That move has worked out well for Sancho as he is on the way back to discovering the best version of himself and will compete in the Champions League final on Saturday against Real Madrid.
Ahead of the match at Wembley, the Man United loanee has seemingly had a dig at Ten Hag with one of his comments.

Speaking to CNN ahead of the Champions League final, Sancho seems to have had a dig at Ten Hag with a “trust” comment he made.
“It’s definitely important for me to have a manager who has that trust in me that I can go anywhere on the pitch to pick up the ball,” Sancho said via The Metro regarding the difference in coaching styles between Ten Hag and Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic.
“I’m a player where I see things and when I see things I like to just move around. Sometimes obviously I like to stay in my position but just little moments I like to drift and try to help the team to get the ball up the pitch.”
