Barcelona forced to alter sporting and economic plans following Araujo setback

Ronald Araujo’s recent injury has deeply impacted both his future at Barcelona and the club’s broader plans, reports SPORT.

Although his current contract runs until June 30, 2026, the focus now shifts to his recovery.

What next for Barcelona?

In light of Araujo’s injury, Barcelona must explore other options to generate funds during the summer transfer window.

The absence of Araujo also means significant changes for the central defence.

Coach Hansi Flick will now rely on a lineup that includes Andreas Christensen, Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez, Eric Garcia, and Jules…
