Carlo Ancelotti says Real Madrid’s transfer business is done for the summer and they have no plans to add to the signings of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick.
Mbappe joined on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain and Brazilian teenager Endrick completed a move to the Santiago Bernabeu from Palmeiras for a reported fee of £50million.
The pair will bolster Madrid’s already impressive attacking options but they look less well equipped at the back following the departures of Nacho and Rafa Marin.
Nacho joined Al Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia while Marin, who spent last season on loan at Alaves, went to Napoli.
Madrid did show an interest in Leny Yoro before he chose Manchester United but Ancelotti insists they are not still in the market for a centre-half.

Speaking on the club’s pre-season tour of the United States, the Italian said: “The squad is closed. [Jesús] Vallejo is back, [David] Alaba is recovering.
“We have young centre-backs like Joan, Jacobo and Raul [Asencio] who are training and have a lot of quality. I believe we are well covered in this position.”
Madrid also without Kroos
The European champions also have a void to fill in central midfield after Toni Kroos decided to retire after Euro 2024.
Ancelotti believes the German is almost impossible to replace like for like but has confidence in his players to make up for Kroos’ absence.
He added: “We are missing Kroos. But we have possibilities to replace him, although in a different way because there is no player like him, with his quality.
“But we have many other resources.”
Madrid take on Milan in Chicago tonight before games against Barcelona and Chelsea.
