Official: Barcelona starting lineup against Rayo Vallecano | La Liga GW3

Barcelona will step out at Estadio de Vallecas in a little over an hour to take on Rayo Vallecano and aim to make it three wins in three games in La Liga.

After picking up 2-1 victories over Valencia and Athletic Club in the first two matchdays, Hansi Flick & co. are targeting to extend their 100% record tonight.

Despite the quick turnaround between matches, the Barcelona manager has opted to make just one change to his starting XI from the game against Athletic on Saturday.

There is a first start for Gerard Martin, at the expense of Alejandro Balde at left-back.

The big news, though, is that new signing Dani Olmo, finally registered in La Liga today, has to settle for a spot on the bench at Vallecas.

Barcelona captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen continues in goal as expected while Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez start as the centre-backs given the lack of options as Andreas Christensen, Ronald Araujo, and Eric Garcia are all out injured. Jules Kounde continues at right-back.

Pedri once again lines up in the double pivot alongside Marc Bernal, with Marc Casado left out of the lineup once again.

Meanwhile, Raphinha continues in his new role as the central attacking midfielder, while Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal occupy the flanks on the left and right sides, respectively.

Robert Lewandowski starts as the lone striker hoping to build on his positive start to the new season.

Fermin Lopez is also left out on the bench along with new signing Pau Victor and youngsters Andres Cuenca and Sergi Dominguez.
