Newcastle announce new commercial deal with ‘multi-year’ agreement confirmed

Newcastle United have agreed another commercial deal, announcing that the club have partnered with Red Bull; the world’s leading energy drinks brand.

The ‘multi-year partnership’ makes Red Bull the club’s new Official Energy Drink partner, replacing Monster, and were spotted on the hoardings during Sunday’s 2-1 win over Spurs at St James’ Park.

Red Bull will not only be advertised across the stadium, but will also ‘supply product to playing staff, the stadium concourses and the club’s hugely popular fanzone; St. James’ STACK, presented by Sela.’

Other partners secured since new owners arrived include Sela, Adidas, Noon, JD, Bet MGM, Saudia, InPost, Fenwick, Carling, quidd, Sportsbet and VT Markets.

Commenting on the partnership, CCO Peter Silverstone, said: “Attracting leading brands to Newcastle United continues to be at the forefront of our exciting commercial growth and Red Bull is a fantastic addition to our partnership family.

“This partnership with Red Bull recognises the exciting journey that Newcastle United is on, with our ever-growing digital presence and increased international television audience of 62% in the last 12 months.

“Red Bull has an unrivalled passion for engaging with sports fans around the world, through culturally relevant partnerships and unique events. The club’s global appeal and strong supporter base will continue to establish Red Bull as a market leader in the UK, USA, Middle East and throughout Europe.”
