TV nightmare as Newcastle vs West Ham change looks set to causes chaos

It looks like Newcastle’s home match against the West Ham is set to be moved in what promises to cause chaos for Hammers fans.

As revealed by West Ham insider @ExWHUEmployee, their trip to St James’ Park has been moved from Saturday 23rd November to Monday 25th November at 8pm in a nightmare scenario for the away supporters.

West Ham fans already have a long journey ahead of them making their way from London to the North East, but this rearranged fixture will now put even more strain on their travels, with the last train back to the capital leaving Newcastle Central Station at 9:35pm.

This would require away fans to exit St James’ Park midway through the second half to get back home that night or to pay for hotels and book the following days off work.

This will leaving their supporters in the sort of tricky away-day situation we’ve seen so many times. But, according to Sky Sports and the Premier League, “football is for the fans.” In reality, we come last.

Official confirmation of the date change should arrive tomorrow, where we’ll learn if any other of our games for November have been picked up and moved for Sky or TNT Sports coverage.
