Manchester United set the tone for an exciting afternoon of Premier League football by beating Southampton 3-0 in the early kick-off.

Ipswich earned their first Premier League points since returning to the top flight in a hard-fought draw with Brighton.
The Seagulls have started well under new head coach Fabian Hurzeler but struggled without goalscorer Joao Pedro in the squad.

Brighton still dominated the match, having 70% possession and 21 shots compared to Ipswich’s six.
But in the end, it was a point each at the Amex Stadium.
Crystal Palace 2-2 Leicester
Crystal Palace grabbed a last-gasp equaliser against Leicester to earn a point at Selhurst Park.
Things were not going the Eagles’ way in South London and they fell behind to a Jamie Vardy strike in the 21st minute.
It was then 2-0 to the Foxes after Stephy Mavididi netted a minute into the first half, leaving a mountain to climb for the hosts.

But climb that mountain they did and they have Jean-Philippe Mateta to thank for his brace, including a penalty in the dying seconds to make it 2-2.
Fulham 1-1 West Ham
Like Crystal Palace, West Ham found a way to earn themselves a point against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
It was a commanding display from Marco Silva’s men and they deservedly took the lead through Santiago Jimenez in the first half.
They did waste a lot of chances in the match, having 21 shots and four big chances and they got punished in the end.
