AC Milan face another stern test in the Champions League on Tuesday as they visit Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
The Rossoneri were well beaten 3-1 by Liverpool in their opening match in the competition, with Leverkusen starting off with a 4-0 win at Feyernoord.
Milan have, however, picked up maximum points from their last three Serie A outings, seeing off Venezia and rivals Inter Milan before beating Lecce at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen are also unbeaten in their last three in the league, beating Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg before they drew 1-1 with Bayern Munich on Saturday.
This is the first time Bayer Leverkusen squares up against AC Milan in the Champions League in the 21st century, thus both face a whole new experience of coming up against an unknown opponent.
