Aston Villa 1-1 Bournemouth
Evanilson scored a 96th-minute equaliser as Bournemouth left it late to snatch a point at high-flying Aston Villa.
Ross Barkley had broken the deadlock with a quarter of an hour left to play at Villa Park, but Bournemouth’s Brazilian striker levelled to earn an impressive point for Andoni Iraola’s team.
Brentford 4-3 Ipswich
Ipswich’s hunt for a first Premier League win of the season goes on as they fell to a 4-3 defeat in an entertaining contest with Brentford.
An enthralling game at the Gtech saw Ipswich race into a 2-0 lead through Sammie Szmodics and George Hirst, before two goals in two minutes for Brentford saw the two teams go into the break.
Bryan Mbeumo then gave the hosts the lead from the penalty spot five minutes after the restart before Harry Clarke, who had scored an own goal in the first half, complete a miserable afternoon when he was sent off on 69-minutes.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, Kieran McKenna’s side drew level through top-scorer Liam Delap but Mbeumo added a second deep in stoppage time to take all three points.
