Maresca urges Chelsea boo-boys to put off Robert Sanchez

Enzo Maresca has urged the Chelsea followers to not barrack under-fire goalkeeper Robert Sanchez if he begins in opposition to West Ham on Monday.

Sanchez has made errors in his final two appearances – he was at fault for Wolves’ aim at Stamford Bridge on January 20 and Erling Haaland’s essential second within the 3-1 defeat at Manchester Metropolis final Saturday.

Maresca could attempt to defend Sanchez

Maresca hinted that if Sanchez was omitted it could be for his personal good.

“Sure, typically that may occur,” he added. “Not solely in Robert’s case. Potter’s return
